The first time was so fantastic, we had to do it again:
RubyRico Productions presents an evening of Prince music and madness!
The evening's live music is provided by Foot Patrol, Austin's reigning foot-fetish funk band led by T.J. Wade, the prodigal genius of all things Prince. The onstage lunacy includes fabulous moves by The Funk Peepshow Dancers, and spinning the deepest Prince gems in between and all nite long will be DJ maHEALani.
Prince Nite's master of ceremonies will be man-about-town and local disc jockey, Rick Daddy, helping the crowd get in on the action with our Spinning Wheel of Sin/Suality, a Lovesexy bed of naughtiness, and the infamous Purple Cage in which to dance the nite away -- all the surprises and spectacle you've come to expect from RubyRico Productions.
Prince Nite: New Year's Eve benefits The
SIMS Foundation, a local nonprofit which provides access to low-cost
counseling and other mental health services for Austin-area musicians and
their immediate families.
The Scoot Inn is located at 1308 East
4th Street, at the corner of Navasota & 4th in Austin. The Scoot will
provide heaters on the patio -- and since the show features the scintillating
talents of The Funk Peepshow Dancers, the temperature outdoors will be far
warmer than the local forecast.
